BIOPIN Beeswax Stain Finish is a interior wood stain,transparent or tinted. It possesses excellent penetration properties and achieves surfaces with gloss or matt finish (depending on the amount of polishing). BIOPIN Beeswax Finish forms a water and dirt repellent coat. It is breathable, antistatic and 100% solvent-free. BIOPIN Beeswax Finish can be used for all stained and unstained interior wood surfaces, such as shaped wood, exposed beams, doors, shelves and toys. Do not use for floors. BIOPIN Beeswax Finish is suitable for toys: meets DIN-EN 71, part 3 on the safety of children’s toys. HOW TO USE: SURFACE VREQUIREMENTS: The surface must be dry and free of dust and grease. APPLICATION: Paint or spray onto surface. Only use if temperature is above 10°C. Stir well before use. THINNER: The beeswax finish comes ready for use. If necessary dilute with water. PREPARATION: Rub off any resins from wooden surface. For resinous and tropical woods use bio pin Thinner. Leave to dry well before treating any further. PRIMING COAT: Apply 1-2 layers of bio pin Primer Oil on very porous surfaces. FINISHING COATS: Evenly apply 1-2 thin layers of BIOPIN Beeswax Finish along the grain. Leave to dry after each coat. BIOPIN Primer Oil is a solvent-free transparent primer. It penetrates deep into the material and provides a breathable and water-repellent protective coat for interior surfaces. It enhances the colour of the surface and highlights the grain of wooden materials. Used on plaster and other mineral-based materials it has a firming effect reducing the absorption properties of these surfaces. APPLICATION: BIOPIN Primer Oil can be sprayed or brushed onto surface. Only use if temperature is above 10°C. THINNER: The Primer Oil comes ready for use. If necessary dilute with water. BASIC TREATMENT: Buff resinous and tropical woods with BIOPIN Thinner. Make sure thinner has completely dried before further treatment. To prime wood, evenly apply 1-2 thin layers of oil. To achieve an ‘oiled only’ surface apply several coats. Do not leave oil to dry before applying next layer but remove any excess oil with cloth after 20 min. and apply next layer until wood is completely saturated. If you wish to consolidate plaster or prime mineral materials brush or spray a layer of BIOPIN Primer Oil. FURTHER VTREATMENT: For further treatment use BIOPIN wax products, bio pin stains or BIOPIN varnishes. On mineral surfaces BIOPINJ Wall Paint may be used in which case the primer oil must be diluted with 30% water prior to priming the wall. Lightly sand ‘oiled only’ surfaces, remove dust and buff off thin layer of oil. APPLICATION ADVICE: Work swiftly and steadily. Over brushing may cause streaks. Only apply thin layers
